Training Information

 Become Part of KCSU!

KCSU IS ALWAYS WELCOMING AND TRAINING STUDENT DJs, PODCASTERS, AND NEWS/SPORTS REPORTERS!

KCSU hosts three rounds of training every fall and spring semesters that are open to all CSU students. The final round of spring training and all summer trainings are open to non-CSU students, AKA community members, looking to become part of KCSU during the summertime. In each training round, students attend a 2-hour class once-a-week for 4-weeks, and on the fifth week, the students will pass a test to certify them as a DJ or Podcaster. (Reporting training takes a little bit of extra time.) All students are invited to become KCSU certified DJs, podcasters, or reporters. For those students and community members unable to make the regularly scheduled class training times, special arrangements can be made.

KCSU is on the first floor, also known as the basement, of the Lory Student Center in the Rocky Mountain Student Media Corporation offices, room 118.  Fill out the form below to secure your spot for the next training session.

PLEASE CONTACT THE TRAINING DIRECTOR IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS OR SPECIAL REQUESTS at training@kcsufm.com.
