Night one opened with Ducki, another local Fort Collins band. Setting the vibe for night one’s theme of space cowboy, Ducki’s enchanting vocals and beautiful guitar riffs filled the Atrium and excited the audience for what was to come. When the Crooked Rugs came onto the stage, the audience was immediately mesmerized. They continued throughout the night with well-played music, showing off their talents as individuals and as a band overall. Towards the end of the night, keyboardist and vocalist Jay LeCavalier surprised the audience with an incredible performance on the sitar. When at a Crooked Rugs show, it is undeniable that you will be pleasantly surprised with talent and unexpected twists and turns.

Night two started with Bitchflower rocking the stage. With an undeniable punk rock energy, Bitchflower got the entire venue moving. With the theme of space alien prom, all Atrium-goers were dressed to impress and ready to dance the night away. After a mind-blowing set from Bitchflower, the Crooked Rugs blew the audience’s minds even further, performing as wonderfully as usual. A local staple, the Crooked Rugs never fail to amaze their audience with sheer talent, ingenuity, and creativity. With night two’s set channeling energy from bands like King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, the Crooked Rugs felt ready to take on Red Rocks with their unbelievable set.

In the coming weeks, the Crooked Rugs will be playing at many venues around Colorado, Utah, & Wyoming. If you’re a fan of enchanting psychedelic rock, be sure to visit thecrookedrugs.com for more information on upcoming shows.
