KCSU is excited for students to be back on campus for the fall semester. We are a student-run radio station and production company. KCSU offers many great opportunities for volunteers including DJing, reporting, podcasting and video production among other important radio skills!
You may be asking, “How do I get involved?”
If you are a Colorado State University student, you can sign up for KCSU training on our website. You will learn about KCSU, radio broadcasting rules and journalism skills. You can then train to become a DJ, a reporter or a podcaster. The fall training sessions are Wednesdays at 11-1 p.m. (starting August 25) and Thursdays 1-3 p.m. (starting August 26).
The community is wonderful, and you will meet students with many different passions and hobbies. There are many different departments to volunteer in and learn about such as music, news and sports. We are always looking for passionate students to write for our website; to report for our news program, “The Rocky Mountain Review,” or to help out with sports broadcasting.
KCSU is open and in person following CSU’s pandemic guidelines.
