This fall, KCSU is proud to announce that we are collaborating with the Fort Collins Museum of Discovery, 105.5 The Colorado Sound, and the Bohemian Foundation to bring local artists the chance to work with professionals in the industry. Sonic Spotlight will present two virtual showcases of different artists from Northern Colorado.  

The Sonic Round will begin on Thursday, November 19 with tracks from all 8 semifinalists. KCSU is proud to announce a collaboration with The Colorado Sound in which the tracks will be heard on both stations.

The program culminates in the Spotlight Round on Thursday, December 10, which will debut music videos from each finalist! 

Artists will get the chance to be aired on 90.5 KCSU and 105.5 The Colorado Sound, work with a world-class music producer on a song, get access to and hands-on training in Ableton Live 10 Suite, and work with a video producer to create a professional music video.Online sessions for selected artists will occur between October 12- November 18, 2020.
