Welcome to From the Tap, a podcast where we talk about that substance that comes straight from your tap, water! In this episode we’re talking with Mark Easter, who is a Board Chair for and co-founder of the Save the Poudre Organization as well as a plant ecologist here at Colorado State University. Mark will tell us about the threats the NISP project poses to the Cache La Poudre River, from the point of view of Save the Poudre, and what we can do as citizens within our communities to conserve water and avoid needing to build another reservoir. Mark also shares his knowledge about the hydrological cycle of the river with us, including where the level and flow of the river used to be, where it is now and concerns going forward. So join the conversation and listen carefully as we learn about our water source and its many uses within our community.
