Lacey Miller dropped her friend off at a Fort Collins apartment at about 1:30 a.m. on Jan. 18, 2003. She planned to drive home, which was about 5 minutes away. No one ever saw her again. Investigators catch a break when they receive a tip about a man they arrested two weeks prior in relation to an incident involving the impersonation of a police officer.
