On February 1, 2012, 18-year-old Samantha Koenig was abducted from the Common Grounds coffee stand in Anchorage, Alaska. It was during the more than 40 hours of interrogation that followed that the FBI learned they were not dealing with a one-off murderer but one of the most deadly serial killers in recent American history.
