Hello! I am Evie, the 2026-2027 Programming Director for KCSU! I am a Junior studying Journalism and Media Communications as well as pursuing a minor in Entomology! This will be my third year as a DJ at KCSU, but I also volunteer for the podcast department. Last year, I served as the 2025-2026 Assistant Podcast Director.

My philosophy for programming this year is to focus on structure and reliability. Our wonderful DJs have so much talent and insight to offer you, dear listener, and my goal is to make sure what we deliver is consistent and designed to follow you throughout the day! Additionally, my goals for this year are to make sure that our volunteers have plenty of opportunities to expand their horizons here at KCSU and within their professional futures!

Some other fun information about me is that I adore music and media analysis. Horror is my favorite media genre, with my favorite pieces of media being Marble Hornets and Trigun. My favorite songs are For Our Elegant Caste by Of Montreal and Bullet With Butterfly Wings by The Smashing Pumpkins, but alternative rock and emo are my favorite music genres in general. My hobbies include drawing and sewing, but I tend to be a creative person across the board.  I was awarded the 2025 Colorado Broadcasters Award of Excellence in the Future Broadcasters Award – Best College Radio with my mini podcast horror series, Stargirl.
