Contest Rules
The following rules apply to all contests (“Contests”) sponsored by KCSU-FM (“Station”), broadcast on the air at 90.5 FM and/or promoted online via KCSUFM.com and/or our official Station social media accounts. Due to delays in online stream, participants should not rely on streamed broadcasts to participate. By participating in any Station Contest, participants agree to abide by these rules as published.
Eligibility
Prizes are provided to Station in exchange for promotional consideration and vary from week to week. Prize redemption will vary. Concert ticket prizes may be redeemed at “will-call” at the applicable concert venue (requiring photo identification) or may be picked up at the Station. Redemption will be indicated at the time the prize is won. Tickets and physical prizes can be mailed domestically at the winner’s request, but Station is not responsible for misdelivered, non-delivered, or damaged prizes.
All winners redeeming a prize in person must bring valid photo identification when claiming their prize. All non-ticket prizes must be claimed as early as possible, and will expire after (30) days of winning. If prize is awarded in person, the winner must claim their prize at the station office, 1101 Center Ave Mall, Room 118, Lory Student Center, Fort Collins, CO 80523 during regular business hours; Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.. Exceptions include days Colorado State University and/or the Lory Student Center is closed.
If any non-ticket prize is unclaimed after 30 days or if any ticketed prize by 5 p.m. the day of the event, it will be forfeited by the winner and become property of the Station. Winners are solely responsible for reporting and paying all taxes on prizes, if applicable. Value of the prize is it’s fair market value, which is defined by the IRS in IRS Publication 561. Prizes are not transferable. Prizes may not be substituted for or redeemed for cash, except that the Station may, at it’s sole discretion, substitute prizes of comparable value.
Conditions
- Contest winners are selected in a randomized raffle from the pool of all contest participants.
- No purchase or donation is necessary to enter.
- Participants cannot win more than one pair of tickets to the same event during the same contest period.
- Should an event be cancelled or rescheduled for any reason, the contest will be considered “void” and no substitute prize will be awarded. Station is not responsible for any event cancelation or rescheduling.
- Contest is void where prohibited
