Concluding the Fort Collins Symphony’s 68th season is “Fate, Fancy, and Fantastic!” featuring our very own timpanist Michael Tetreault in William Kraft’s “Timpani Concerto No. 1.” Jennifer Higdon’s extraordinary “blue cathedral,” and an old favorite, Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 4 in F minor, round out a stellar evening of music-making!
The POPS concert programming will include “old” Broadway music composed by Irving Berlin and George Gershwin, followed by more contemporary pieces composed by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Stephen Sondheim. Broadway actress and Fort Collins resident Patty Goble will perform with the orchestra.
