Fools Fest Postponed for April 7

Carson Preusse, Assistant Promotions Director

Due to heavy winds on March 31, Fools Fest was postponed to this upcoming Friday, April 7. Fools Fest will be presented at the same location at the Sutherland Gardens and will be from 12-5 p.m.

Presented by Blast N Scrap and RamEvents, Fools Fest is KCSU’s on-campus music festival that features the music of punk and indie bands from all around the Northern Colorado and Denver area.

Fools Fest is featuring Dead Boyfriend, Rosebay, Sour Magic and Scuffed. Supporting performers include CSU’s competitive a cappella group, Mainstreet A Cappella, and local hyperpop DJ Forrest Nelson. This lineup includes some local favorites as well as some first-time performers making their debut to the Fort Collins music scene.

Even if punk and indie music isn’t your jam, we encourage all groups of people to come together, listen to some music and relax for an afternoon. Above all, Fools Fest was created with the goal of bringing local music to the CSU campus to engage and enjoy with the Fort Collins community, so don’t miss out on this unique opportunity and come to Fools Fest this April 7 from 12-5 p.m.

KCSU’s Fools Fest is presented in part by Blast N Scrap and RamEvents and is open to the public.
