On this episode, we sit down with Shane Garland & Derek Young, both grad students in Mechanical Engineering at Colorado State University. Shane and Derek both currently work with the ITS Labs, over at CSU’s Powerhouse Energy Campus, where they’re working on an Ultra-Efficient Turbo-Compression Cooling System, both Shane and Derek work with their team to develop a thermally powered supplemental cooling system for thermoelectric power plants that will enable dry cooling.
