Dorian Green poured in 26 points playing on a soar ankle and the Rams outrebounded the Tigers 36-18 as CSU notched a huge NCAA tournament victory with a 84-72 win at Rupp Arena.

The Rams got off to a quick start and never looked back against a talented Missouri team who never lived up to expectations all season long and disappointed fans one more time. CSU shot 49 percent from the field, 50 percent from 3-point range, and hit 27-33 from the free throw line to put the Tigers away at the end.

First-year Rams coach Larry Eustachy earned the victory with his fourth tournament team, putting him in company with a select number of coaches to achieve such a feat.

Colton Iverson was plagued with foul trouble throughout and finished with just four points, but he managed to grab 13 rebounds, including 5 offensive rebounds to help the Rams dominate the Tigers on the boards.

CSU was unstoppable in the first half going for 47 points and was able to come up with stops when they needed to throughout the game, keeping Missouri at bay whenever they tried to make a run.

The Rams also got 25 points from their bench in this game, about double what they usually get as Jon Octeus scored 12 points and Daniel Bejarano added 9 points.

CSU will move on to the Round of 32 Saturday where they will take on the overall number 1 seed Louisville who defeated North Carolina A&T 79-48 earlier in the day.
